The approach to building great HR organizations starts with a framework for the role of the HR organization in the company - and the role of the CHRO/CPO - that is based on a combination of Todd's extensive corporate and consulting experience and the best thought leaders in the HR profession.
When designing an HR organization, it's important to employ all the same techniques for organization and culture design that you would for the rest of your organization. Optimal performance is based on a comprehensive architecture that starts with purpose and mission, incorporates a whole system organization design, and flows through to high performance and results.
Todd can help the CHRO think through whether to build or buy capabilities, and how to best deploy technology to deliver products and services. In the area of talent acquisition, Todd has been involved both in creating innovative outsourcing partnerships, and in building large in-house capabilities. Services range from brief engagements to help you think through the options, to more comprehensive assistance to run RFI/RFP processes and plan for implementation of new partner services or technology tools. Todd recently helped an enterprise software company solve multiple post-merger HR technology and process issues - as well as establish new on-line service channels for employees.
Todd has built multiple successful HR teams over the course of his career, ranging from small business unit HR teams to over 100 people as CHRO at Verifone to over 200 people at Bank of America in Asia Pacific. He recently helped a new CHRO of a fin-tech company hire two VP-level leaders to build her team. As an interim CHRO, he recently helped an enterprise software company make several changes to improve the HR leadership team.
Todd can also serve as an interim leader for key roles such as CHRO/CPO or head of talent management.
